This was a brand creation project for a hotelier. First I designed the structures then created the branding and collateral. I also was able to draw from my love of Asian cooking with the creation of the menu. Its always great to see a design come into existence in the physical. I was trying to create a design that would find a balance with its backdrop and pulled my inspiration from Japanese rock garden design. The logo was inspired by Hawaiian quilt designs.
